Boundary County Habitat for Humanity is now
selling raffle tickets for a log cabin. The
tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and can be
purchased at Super 1 Customer Service Desk in
Bonners Ferry.
The cabin is at Super 1 in their parking lot, so
stop by and take a step inside to view the 5'x7'
interior.
The logs were donated by Max Schneurle and
Carolyn McNeill and the building was designed by
Mike Haynes and constructed by Habitat Board
Members Mike Haynes, Don Vickaryous, Pete
Jimenez, Rege McNeill and Ken Myers.
Habitat for Humanity will transport and set up
the cabin on the winner's site within 50 miles
of Bonners Ferry. All money raised from the
raffle will go towards construction of Habitat's
ninth house, soon to be built in Bonners Ferry.
The drawing will be held Wednesday, October 3,
at Super 1 Foods and the winner announced on
JoJo Baker's radio show on AM 1450, KBFI.
