Freeze warning through Thursday
|
September 11, 2012 |
The National Weather Service, Spokane, has
issued a freeze warning in effect until 9 a.m.
Thursday, September 13.
This morning, people around the area have
reported frost and temperatures as low as
25-degrees. It is possible that certain areas
could see temperatures below freezing the next
two mornings, though a slight warming trend
should see overnight lows in the upper 30s to
low 40s by Friday, and a daytime high Friday
near 80-degrees.
The areas most susceptible to early morning
frost are those that are sheltered, and the low
temperatures could bring an early end to the
gardening season. |
