Anya Krmpotich visits home, Rotary

Anya Krmpotich stopped by to thank the Bonners Ferry Rotary for her 2012 scholarship. Presenting her with te certificate were Norm Braatz and Greg Johnson.
Anya Krmpotich, one of the 13 Rotary Scholarship recipients for 2012, was unavailable to receive her scholarship in person at the dessert social at the Kootenai River Inn in May.

She is now spending the summer from her studies at Whitworth College in Spokane, where she is majoring in Biology and Spanish, and stopped by during a meeting in August to thank Rotary members for her award.

One of the reasons Anya was selected, in addition to her scholastic achievement, was her work with community service organizations, including homeless shelters, hospitals, and public health departments.
