Labrador announces re-election bid |

Congressman Raul Labrador, representing Idaho's
First District, announced this week that he will
officially kick off his re-election campaign
with a rally on the capitol steps in Boise, to
be followed by a luncheon at the Rose Room.
Labrador was born in Puerto Rico and raised in a
single parent household. His mother worked hard
to ensure that her son had the opportunity to
receive an education.
After high school, he went on to obtain a degree
from Brigham Young University and later
completed his J.D. from the University of
Washington. Labrador, an immigration attorney,
ran his own law practice until elected to
Congress.
His political career began in 2006 when he was
elected to the Idaho State Legislature
representing western Ada County. In 2010, Raúl
was elected to represent the people of the first
congressional district of Idaho. Raúl and his
wife Rebecca are the proud parents of 5
children, Michael, Katerina, Joshua, Diego, and
Rafael. Their family is actively involved in
their church and community in Eagle, Idaho.
The rally kicks off at 11:30 a.m., the luncheon
begins at noon on Monday, February 13.
Sponsorships for the campaign kickoff are
avaiable; Title Sponsors, who contribute $5,000,
will receive 10 tickets to the luncheon;
Sponsors who contribute $1,000 will receive six
tickets; and Co-Sponsors who contribute $500
will receive four tickets. You can also reserve
a table of eight for $250, general seating
tickets are $18 per person or $30 per couple.
