Special Council Meeting
Mayor David Anderson called
the special council meeting of July 22, 2011 to order at 12:00 noon
at city hall.
Present for the meeting were Council
President Chris Clark, Council Members Mike
Klaus, Connie Wells, and Tom Mayo, Clerk Kris
Larson, City Administrator Stephen Boorman, and
City Attorney Tim Wilson.
Mayor Dave Anderson was participating by
telephone.
The purpose of the special
council meeting was to consider and discuss the
Idaho Forest Group contract.
Chris Clark moved to go
into executive session per Idaho Code 67-2345
(1) (f).
Mike Klaus seconded the motion.
The motion passed – Mike Klaus “yes”,
Chris Clark “yes”, Connie Wells “yes”, Tom Mayo
“yes”.
At 12:40 p.m. executive session ended.
Connie Wells moved to
authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement with
Idaho Forest Group for electrical service.
Chris Clark seconded the motion.
Connie asked staff if this is a good
agreement between Bonners Ferry and Idaho Forest
Group.
Stephen Boorman said it isaccording the
discussions that were held between the City and
the attorneys.
Tim Wilson said the legal side agrees
that the Mayor should be allowed to sign the
agreement.
Mike Klaus “yes”, Chris
Clark “yes”, Connie Wells “yes”, Tom Mayo “yes”.
There being no further
business the meeting adjourned at 12:42 p.m.
