Over 100 Bonners Ferry Middle School students
took the walk Thursday evening that takes them
to the next step in their educational careers,
promotion to high school freshmen.
The Eighth Grade Choir; Kimberly Crump, Chase
Dinning, Olivia Fee, Jessica Flower, Austin
Kerr, Emily Kersteins, Savannah Mendenhall,
Justin Navarro, Alejandro Navia, Cheyenne
Oyharsabal, Mariah Rae, Jessica Scott, Ann
Thompson, Kendra Urbanic, Emily Warden and Ethan
Warden, performed the National Anthem and, after
Principal Richard Behrens opening comments, sang
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow," and "It's a
Wonderful World."
Robin Merrifield gave a rousing speech, and
Behrens and school board trustee Gil Hagen
presented the students who can be the class of
2015 their certificates of promotion.
If all do well and continue the path they're on,
the students we'll be watching excel in the
Class of 2015 will include:
