Valley View kids raise money with
Math-a-thon

Students at Valley View Elementary held their
annual Math-a-thon in March, raising pledges
before undertaking a 30-question math test to
raise $2,416.72 for the school's Parent Teacher
Organization.
Raising the most for the boys was Donny Riess
from Mrs. Alvarez's kindergarten class, who
brought in $134. Quinn Plato, from Mrs.
Funkhouser's fourth grade class, raised $200 to
lead the girls' effort. Both students received a
personalized Valley View sweatshirt for their
outstanding work.
The Valley View PTO would like to send out a big
thank-you to all the students and donors for
their hard work and generosity. |
