On the same day an election will be held to give a thumbs up or down to a two year, $2.8-million Boundary County School District Maintenance and Operations levy, voters will also have the opportunity to decide two school board positions that will be on the ballot.

In School District 3, incumbent Sulett Hiatt is being challenged by David Brinkman. In School District 4, current school board chair Melanie Staples is being challenged by Paul Shelton.

As yet, no write in candidates have filed, but they have until Friday to do so.
