Bonners Ferry was a great "Capitol for a
Day"

On April 25th I traveled to Bonners Ferry for
the Boundary County "Capital for a Day." My
first Capital for a Day was held in Bonners
Ferry in 2007. Boundary County is Idaho's
northernmost county, and meetings like this are
so important because they allow these citizens
from the farthest corner of the State to meet
with me and my Cabinet directly.
It was great to meet with our Panhandle
residents and hear more about what issues matter
most to them. We had a great visit and even
enjoyed a cake in the shape of Idaho! Thanks to
the leaders of Boundary County for inviting us
up north, and all of the residents who came to
meet me at the fairgrounds in Bonners Ferry.
