Get tough on hoaxters
|
March 24, 2013 |
Catching these alleged bomb hoaxsters is all
well and good, but what happens to them is where
we are going wrong.
First, kudos to our local police department and
sheriffs organization for their diligent work in
apprehending local hoodlums.
The problem is where our local judicial system
gives them a slap on the wrist and lets them off
with nominal fines.
Read the sheriff and court logs that are posted
on newsbf.com!
"A local teen born 1998, charged with burglary,
a felony, February 1 by the Boundary County
Sheriff’s Office, admitted true and sentenced to
180 days detention, 147 days suspended, 30 days
home confinement, $70 court costs and two years
probation ."
A felony, and this is all that happens.
If we got tougher maybe theses teens would learn
something. |
