Another piece of Bonners Ferry's history will
come alive at the Boundary County Museum at 11
a.m. Saturday, May 18, when the Boundary County
Historical Society dedicates its newest exhibit,
the White Caribou Bar.
Fredx Fisher opened the bar, which featured the
iconic Bonners Ferry white caribou, on Main
Street in 1905, and ran it until it closed four
years later in 1909.
The new exhibit captures much of the spirit of
the old watering hole, but sorry, no spirits
will be served!
The dedication ceremony takes place at the
museum in the Main Hall, and the public is
welcome. To find out more, call (208) 267-7720.
