Free CommUNITY Breakfast nears

It's time to mark your your calendars and make
plans to attend the 10th annual Free CommUNITY
Breakfast, taking place once again in the
Boundary County Middle School cafeteria, 6577
Main Street, Bonners Ferry, from 7 to 10 a.m.
Saturday, September 22.
The Free CommUNITY Breakfast is, as the name
implies, free, and it's open to everyone who
stops in. In addition to a hearty breakfast,
it's a great place to catch up on old friends
you haven't seen in a while and meet new friends
while you're at it.
The event, sponsored by the Bonners Ferry Rotary
Club, the Bonners Ferry Badger Boosters, Super 1
Foods, Akins Harvest Foods and Safeway.
As in years past, the Badger Boosters will be
cooking breakfast and the wait staff will be
Badger Athletes. For their hard work, the Rotary
will once again make a $500 donation to the
Boosters.
Once again, too, there will be a silent auction,
and organizers are already excited about the
generosity, once again (!), of the businesses
and individuals who are donating!
Donation jars will also be available for those
wishing to contribute to the Rotary Scholarship
Fund, recipient of the proceeds of the event.
Each year, the local Rotary Club awards at least
a dozen scholarships to deserving Bonners Ferry
High School graduates. |
