claimed the lives of two Boundary County men and injured a

season: looking back and looking ahead: As large
wildfires burn across much of the western United States, Idaho
has so far generally been spared, although three small fires
have already been fought and stopped right here in Boundary
County within the last six weeks. |

been arrested in Spokane: A south Idaho murder
suspect who ended up in a police chase in northern Bonner County
this past March was spotted and arrested in Spokane over the
weekend. |

to half-staff: Out of respect for the victims of
the recent attack on Sunday, June 12, in Orlando, Florida,
President Obama has ordered flags at the White House and upon
all public buildings and grounds, military installations, and
ships, to be flown at half-staff until sunset on June 16. |

emergency exercise, an earthquake that didn't really hit Seattle
had a big impact on Boundary County: So an
earthquake didn't really happen at Seattle and the west coast
last week, but that non-quake had a big impact on Boundary
County, Idaho. |

National Guard Armory to close soon: In what the
Idaho National Guard calls an effort to modernize and realign

use of the Bonners Ferry National Guard Armory in the near

the BREXIT vote in the United Kingdom have to do with us?
So, Great Britain has voted to leave the European Union. This is
a big deal. First, Scotland nearly voted to leave the UK just
months ago. Secondly, Northern Ireland may chose to leave the UK
as well and unify with the country of Ireland. |
