She had been out earlier shoveling on her own, when she fell, her weight landing square on her wrist, snapping it badly. Getting her drive cleared was a blessing, she said.
"I sincerely appreciate it and for your help in getting the word out there," Ruth wrote. "I will need a bit of help on the days it snows until my wrist is healed, approximately six weeks, according to the orthopedist.
