Bart was born November 9, 1943, in Bonners Ferry. He hit the ground running. Playing in the mountains and fields with his many cousins. In high school, he met Sharon, the love of his life. Married for 55 years, they had four children; Kathy, Daniel, Bridget and Charles.
After travelling all over the country, they made their home in Boundary County, where Bart was a sawyer. Loving the mountains, he was always taking the family hunting, fishing and camping. One of his favorite things was just taking a walk in the woods.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, four children, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many, many cousins.
