Susan Lee Rogers, 74, passed away in a car accident near Sandpoint on Friday, November 3, 2017. Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 18, at the Bonners Ferry Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, friend and auntie. She enjoyed gardening and reading, deeply embraced her faith, loved the outdoors and mountains, even small things like feeding birds near her house, and had a special love for her family and grandchildren.

She is a member of the Bonners Ferry Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and will be reunited in paradise with friends and family in the grace of our Lord.

She is survived by her daughters Kira and Gretal, grandchildren Samuel, Malachi and Zarah, numerous nieces and nephews, her many special friends and her loving dog Molly.

Susan was born on September 15, 1943, in Silverton, Oregon, to Lester and Arlene Cole. She grew up and attended schools in Woodburn, Oregon. She graduated high school from Laurelwood Academy, and received her nursing certificate in Glendale, California.

She worked at General Hospital in Walla Walla, Washington, when she met and married Douglas Reoch on September 19, 1969. They moved to Bonners Ferry in 1973 and had two precious daughters. Susan worked as a home health nurse and in Hospice care.

She and Doug later separated.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Theodore Reoch, and siblings Bill, Jeanne, Ed, Dorie, Don and Richard.
