He was born at Siloam Springs, Arkansas on August 12, 1951, to Lonnie and Artie (Burnett) Davis. He grew up and attended public schools in Siloam Springs. He graduated with the class of 1969. Rick worked for Franklin Electric for 17 years. He did quality control for Bran Rex, a company that makes cables. He also remodeled houses. Rick moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1989 and met Dawn Foster there in 1998. They took a vacation together in 1999 and came to Montana. They got married and bought a house in Troy and stayed. His hobby was building the family home. He was preceded in death by brothers John Wayne Davis, Robert Davis, Dee Davis and Glen Ray Davis, sister Lois Harper, and a son, little Ricky. Survivors include his wife Dawn Davis, Troy, children Tory Foster, Troy, Ryan Foster (Courtney), Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Shawn Davis (Denise), Cedarville, Arkansas, April Davis, Centerton, Arkansas, grandchildren Katelyn, Hunter, Autumn, Rory, Novalee, Cowboy, Gracen and Ava, sister Betty Wilson, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and niece Christy Utter, Owasso, Oklahoma.
