James was born in Sacramento, California, to Paul and Ina Sheppard in 1933. Jim worked for Seattle City Light for 33 years as a pole hauler. He met and married the love of his life, Lori, in 1974 and his world changed. No more baseball bats and gloves! He helped raise his girls to be able to run chains for his tractor and stack wood. He survived when a tree decided to fight back. Jim and Lori moved to Bonners Ferry, where they found their Utopia on Maas Loop. A place they could feed the grand deer and he could put his favorite toys (tractors) to use. They worked together to make their new home a park-like setting where friends and family could come and instantly relax. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel, and sisters Timmy, Bebe and Fern. Survived by his loving wife Lori, daughters Yvette, Yvonne (husband Dave), Nicolette and Pebbles, and granddaughters Brittany and Stephanie. |
