Carol was born December 26, 1936, to James R. and Velma Grace “Jakey” Andrews of Copeland. Carol grew up loving the community she was raised in and has always fondly considered it home. She attended Copeland School and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School with many treasured friendships that lasted her lifetime. Carol married Donald Moline in 1955 and moved to Spokane, where they raised their five children. Working as a travel consultant in Spokane and then in Arizona, Carol traveled the world, visiting Greece, Jerusalem, Hawaii, London, China, Turkey, Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Canada, Nova Scotia and Alaska. Her love of travel continued on through her retirement years as she traveled by RV throughout the United States for 15 years, experiencing great adventures, enjoying new friendships and visiting with family and friends along the way. Carol was a true gift to her family; we loved her smile, genuine kindness, her sense of humor and her unlimited support and encouragement. Our hearts are broken and the loss is great, but we are so grateful for the time with our Mom, Grandma, and Auntie. She is preceded in death by her brother, Norman (1934), mother Grace (1957), father James (1990) and her beloved sister Judith (2011), who remained her best friend throughout her life. Carol is survived by her children, Shannon Moline, Sharla LaBelle, Scott Moline and wife Twyla, Julie Amick and husband Terry, and Jeff Moline and wife Thess, grandchildren Stephanie, Sarah and husband Dane, Leslie and husband Matt, Alysha and husband Jeff, Kalab and fiancé Brittany, Savannah and husband Eli, Jennifer and fiancé Dustin, Sean, Andrew and wife Laura, and Martina and fiancé Josh, and great grandchildren Mahealani, Kainoa, Harlie, Isaiah, Drayden, Liam, Mayjer, and Maddix. Donations in memoriam of Carol can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Arizona. |
