Cecil Foote, 91, Troy, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Brendan House in Kalispell. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 3, at Troy Community Baptist Church, E725 Missoula Avenue, Troy. He was born on April 17, 1926, at Mansfield, Arkansas, to Leslie and Addie (Nidlett) Foote. Cecil moved to Montana at the age of 15. He started falling timber with a cross cut saw with his brother. He married Maxine Helton in 1946 at Whidbey Island, Washington, and they made their home in Lincoln County. Cecil retired from St. Regis Lumber Company in 1982. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by son Clyde Foote. Survivors include his wife Maxine Foote, Troy, children Butch Foote (Julie), Libby, Ron Foote (Arvey), Grants Pass, Oregon, Ken Foote, Napavine, Washington, Marcia Foote, Big Fork, Montana, brother Johnny Foote, Liberty Lake, Washington, sister Betty Cunningham and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
