Gretchen
Norene Brittin (Anderson) passed away at her
daughter's home near Bonners Ferry on January 23,
2014. Services will be held at Mt. Hall Church
in Bonners Ferry at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January
29. Gretchen born in Mansfield, Ohio, on June 3, 1924, to the late Maynard Lewis and Edna Mae (Marmet) Anderson. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1942. She attended Nyack Collage in New York. She was married to Hazen Joseph Brittin, who pastored Christian and Missionary Alliance churches in New York and New Jersey for 43 years. After her husband’s death she moved to Toccoa, Georgia, in 1994. She is survived by three daughters and one son. Judith Dalene Harding living in Bonners Ferry, Carol Lee Schraeder living in Moscow Mills, Missouri, James (Jim) Paul Brittin living in Clearwater, Florida, and Nancy Lynn Graham living in Driftwood, Pennsylvania. One son, Gerald (Jerry) Robert Brittin died in 1977 at 23 years of age. She has 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
