May Primary Election:  Information on Early Voting,
Absentee Voting

Boundary County Clerk/Recorder Glenda Poston wants to make all Boundary County voters aware that Early or Absentee Voting is now open and available for the upcoming primary election, which is scheduled for May 15.  "Early and absentee voting is available 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday until May 11, 2018 at the Boundary County Clerk’s Office in the courthouse," said Ms. Poston.

According the County Clerk's office, those who cannot or choose not to go to the polls on election day can cast their vote by absentee ballot. Those wishing to vote absentee can pick up applications for absent elector's ballot at the Clerk's office or by clicking on this link.

Absentee ballot applications must be turned in each year one wishes to vote absentee. The Boundary County Courthouse is an absentee polling site prior to election day.

Registered voters who are outside the county should submit their application for an absent elector's ballot, allowing ample mail time prior to the election. Completed ballots must be received no later than 8:00 p.m. on election day in the Clerk's Office.
