Crisp day at Schweitzer
5:52 a.m. December 4, 2017
From the Schweitzer snow reporters

A clear and crisp morning greets us as we watch the last of the super moon descend across the sky. Should be a great day for finding all those lines we could not see yesterday.

Bring your face mask and come ride with us!

We recommend staying on groomed terrain as early season conditions exist and there are unmarked obstacles (stumps, rocks, etc.) that may be encountered off the groomers.

Adult lift tickets will be $56.

We will have a group kids lesson at 10 a.m., adult group lesson at noon and discounted private lessons are available!

We've had nine inches of new snow in the last 48 hours and 11-inches over the last 72, bringing us to 99-inches total so far this season. Base depth is 39-inches upper, 24-inches mid and 18-inches at lower elevation.

We have 600 acres of 2,900 acres open for skiing on packed powder and machine groomed trails.

As of 5 a.m., temperature at the summit was 11-degrees and the village was 13-degrees. We're expecting mostly cloudy skies today with fair to good visibility and a high temperature of 22-degrees.
