UPDATE: 7:20 p.m. December 5: There has been message contact, but no way as yet to know if it is actually April. "She is still gone but there have been messages between her and her friend," her mother, Tina, wrote. "She just messaged her dad tonight. We are trying to get her to call so we actually know it's her." Please continue to be vigilant.
