Panhandle Health conducting survey
August 10, 2017
Panhandle Health District is partnering with community health leaders to update the region’s Community Health Needs Assessment. North Idaho residents are encouraged to participate in an online survey and give their input on local health related needs and concerns.

“Participation from a variety of community members is essential to creating an accurate picture of the health needs and priorities in North Idaho,” said Lora Whalen, Panhandle Health District Director.

The survey questions focus on personal health behaviors such as exercise, tobacco use, doctor visits and more. The data collected will be used to assess the community’s health status and identify emerging health-related concerns.

In addition to community focus groups and secondary data, survey results will assist Panhandle Health District and other local organizations target their health improvement efforts to where the need is greatest.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous. Participants will have the option to enter for a chance to win a Kindle Fire upon completion.

The survey is open now and available at www.NorthIdahoCHA.com.
