Local woman collecting relief for Montana ranchers
July 31,y 2017
Shawn Watt, who grew up in Bonners Ferry and now lives in Kalispell, is helping to organize a relief effort for the ranchers in Jordan, Montana, an area that has been devastated of late by wildfire.

If you can sell hay at a discount or flat out donate it, that's what they need most. There is also a need for fencing supplies, troughs etc.

As of Sunday, around 400 square miles have burned. Garfield County and its neighboring counties are a disaster and will be for quite sometime.

Everything collected will go to relief efforts via https://fundly.com/garfield-county-fire-foundation. You can learn more about the ranches on which help is needed on Facebook or at NorthernAg.NET.

If you can help, call or text Shawn at (208) 610-4205, or email her; watt.shawn@gmail.com.
