Storm watch upgraded to warning |
February 13, 2018 |
The winter storm watch issued for the region
Monday has been upgraded to a winter storm
warning in effect from 10 p.m. today through
noon Wednesday for North Idaho and northeast
Washington. According to the National Weather Service, heavy snow is likely to bring four to eight inches of new snow with up to a foot at higher elevations. Snow is expected to make travel difficult, especially for the Wednesday morning commute, with slick roads and reduced visibility, and this much snow could bring trees down into roadways and cause power outages. |
