Two local men injured in early morning collision |
February 10, 2018 |
Two local men were injured, one of them
seriously, when two trucks
collided this morning on Highway 95. Details of the collision are scant as
no Idaho State Police press release is being
issued.
The collision, involving two Ford F150 pickups,
was reported shortly before 6 a.m. at the north
end of Pleasant Valley Loop near the top of
Peterson Hill, both vehicles off the roadway,
and a deputy arriving on scene called for a
LifeFlite helicopter for Brock Naslund, 61, Bonners
Ferry. The hospital he was flown to was not
released.
The driver of the other Ford was Kyler Rice, 21, also of Bonners Ferry.
Boundary Ambulance sent two EMS crews and an
extrication crew to the scene, and South
Boundary Fire personnel assisted throughout the
morning until the scene was cleared at about
10:25 a.m.
According to community members, both men are
fine; Kyler playing basketball in Priest River
and Brock resting at home. |
