Northern Lights offering scholarships |

If you know a high school student, undergraduate
student or someone who wants to become a
lineman, Northern Lights is offering a $3,000
lineman scholarship, along with eight $1,500
educational scholarships.
To qualify, applicants or their parent/guardian
must be a member of Northern Lights or the
applicant’s parent/guardian must be an employee
of Northern Lights. Applicant for the lineman
scholarship must be enrolled or planning to
enroll in lineworker school, educational
scholarship applicants must be a graduating high
school senior or a current undergraduate student
at a college, university or vocational school.
Graduate students are not eligible.

Applications will include short essay on what it
means to be a member of a cooperative, a brief
personal statement about your future goals, one
character reference letter and two letters of
recommendation.
Applications must be submitted by April 13.
Winners will be notified by May 4, and will be
announced at the Northern Lights Annual Meeting
on Saturday, May 12, at the Sandpoint Events
Center. |
