Fireworks okay on New Years Eve |

Fireworks are permitted in Palmer City limits to ring in the
New Year on December 31, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. But please note
... there are restrictions. In Wasilla, Class C fireworks are
okay from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. New Years Eve. By ordinance, the fireworks must be Class C and have been purchased legally in the State of Alaska, and a responsible person 21 years or older must supervise their use. It is illegal, even on New Years, to light off firecrackers in these restricted areas: 1. Within 250 feet of any health care facility or assisted living facility, library, school, or place of worship; 2. Within 500 feet of any automotive service station or other premises where flammable liquids or gases are stored; 3. Within or from any structure or vehicle; 4.
