On December 16, Jason Ray Ortiz, 34, Palmer, reported his vehicle was crashed into by an unknown vehicle earlier that evening while it was parked in the North Star Animal Hospital parking lot.

 

On December 17, Palmer Police Officers arrested 23 year old Miranda Craig, Palmer, and 27 year old Andrew Bates, Wasilla on outstanding warrants for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Probation. The two subjects were located at a residence on Hatcher Street in Palmer. Bail was set at $5,000 for each defendant.

 

On December 17, Andrew Scott Bates, 27, Wasilla, was arrested for driving while license suspended. Bates was remanded into custody at Mat-Su Pretrial, where he was to be released on his own recognizance on the charge, per the bail schedule.

 

On December 19, an 11-year old Palmer male was bitten by a family pet. The animal has been quarantined for 10 days.

 

On December 19, Palmer Police responded to the report of a collision on South Bailey Street at West Cottonwood Avenue involving Jason M. Theis, 24, Palmer, and Stacy L. Underwood, 33, Wasilla. No injuries were reported.

 

On December 19, Bruce Allen Marshall, 44, Anchorage, was arrested for DUI. Marshall was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial, where his bail was set at $5,000 bond with a court approved third party custodian, per the bail schedule.

 

On December 20, Palmer Police arrested Trevor D. Arts, 20, of Palmer, on a $200 cash or corporate warrant on a probation violation original charge minor consuming alcohol.

 

On December 20, Cynthia L. Thiele, 57, Wasilla, reported her vehicle was the victim of a hit and run collision in Palmer.

 

On December 20, Harley Davidson Hurn, 39, Willow, was arrested for driving while license suspended.

 

On December 21, Esther E. Browning, 41, Palmer, reported a theft of property from her residence in Palmer.

 

On December 21, City of Palmer employees discovered damage done to the public bathrooms behind the Palmer Visitor’s Center.
