One dead in Wasilla house fire |

| One person, not yet identified, is confirmed dead after an
early morning fire today in Wasilla. Alaska State Troopers and the state fire marshal's office were called to the scene at 62 Parks Highway at 3:13 a.m., where the home was a total loss. Positive identification of the deceased has not yet been made; investigation into the cause of the fire continues. |
