Wasilla man jailed for sex assault

A 28 year-old Wasilla man is being held without bail after allegedly sexually assaulting another man in his home early Sunday morning.

According to Alaska State Troopers, the incident was reported at 3:49 a.m. December 8. Troopers responded to the home of Qauarliak "Dominic" Manumik in Wasilla's Williwaw subdivision, and determined that Manumik had assaulted a 26 year-old man.

The victim was transported to the Alaska Native Medical Center for treatment, while Manumik was arrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

The case is being investigated by the Palmer Alaska Bureau of Investigations Major Crime Unit.
