Car hits Valley Country Store |
December 5, 2013 |
A woman driving in violation of a learners permit got a
little more excitement than she bargained for Wednesday when she
set out on a quick trip to the store in Wasilla. Alaska State Troopers responded to the Valley Country Store at the corner of Church and Seldon Roads at 7:14 p.m. after receiving a report that a car had crashed into the front of the store, where they found Erica Magee, 20, Wasilla, who reported that a mechanical failure caused her to lose control of the car she was driving and hit the store. It was learned that the vehicle was owned by Camilo Nantes, 31, also of Wasilla, who allowed Magee to borrow the rig despite knowing she didn't have a valid drivers license. Camillo was issued a summons and a charge of driving in violation of instructional permit against Magee will be forwarded to the District Attorney's Office. |
