Severe thunderstorm warning issued

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued at 9:40 p.m., effective until 11 p.m. today, for eastern Washington and North Idaho, including Boundary County.

The storm, currently north of Spokane, is moving north at about 50 miles per hour, bringing destructive winds and large hail. In Spokane, winds were clocked at 60 miles per hour.
