Boundary County School District 101 has selected
Barb Robertson and Luke Omodt as its March,
2013, Employees of the Month. According to Olson, Barb has made a huge difference in the lives of many students working in a variety of roles. She's worked with kids in the pre-school program, in the life skills classroom and, for the past eight years, as the speech/language aide, who, working closely with the speech/language pathologist, helped children from around the district. "She cares about every child she works with along with a deep caring for the school system and everyone involved in each school. She is a pleasure to work with and always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude," Olson said. Omodt, by the way, is the new high school history/government teacher. "Luke is new to our History/Government Deptartment this year and is doing great things both for the department and all students of BFHS," high school principal Kirk Hoff wrote. " Luke's leadership class is taking big strides under his guidance. For example, when this picture was taken, Luke was choreographer of the Teacher’s Interpretive Dance." After that, Omodt was a a shoo in. "I didn't know Mr. Hoff knew that many words," one student said. |
