Carson Bosworth here for fair |

![]() Bosworth, the son of Bob and Jill Bosworth, Bonners Ferry, will take part in logging exhibitions each day of the fair, sponsored by Idaho Forest Group. Demonstrations will be held at 11:30 a.m., 3 and 5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 3 and 5 p.m. on Saturday in the outdoor arena. Carson grew up in Bonners Ferry and learned logging and logging sports from his father, himself one of the most respected foresters in the nation. He began competing in timber sports at age 8, the beginning of a career that would take him around the world. For the past four years, he's been a member of the U.S. National Axman's team that has competed at the Royal Sydney Easter Show in Sydney, Australia. He's qualified for the ESPN Stihl Timbersports series each year since 1990 save one. He's performed in front of at least two prime ministers and has put on demonstrations or competed in all 50 states. In his career, he's attained 55 world titles, seven of them with his wife, Tina, and over 100 all-around titles.
